Do you have water problems in your home?
SERVPRO of Asheville West was called in to help after this home had been flooded. However, it wasn't drying as fast as we thought it would. The reason was because the homeowner wouldn't leave the equipment on at night because they made too much noise.
Turning off the equipment makes for longer drying times.
Secondary damage is the reason for needing drying equipment to stay on. Damage that happens after the initial damage is considered secondary. Mold growth is considered a secondary damage. The air movement and dehumidification quickens the evaporation of any water that is left over. The mold will not be able to grow without the water.
